摘要 <p>Compact travelling wave tube requiring a reduced mfg. cost ensures a high power output, and the focusing unit for the electron beam prevents field intensity drop at the end of the h.f. section. The magnetic field exhibits lesser eccentricities. The output end of the h.f. section is connected to the corresp. column-shaped waveguide forming a cavity of the slow wave structure. The slow wave structure is coupled to the electron gun by an aperture in the anode and the output end comprises the collector. The beam passes through apertures while coupling is ensured by openings. The periodic permanent magnet unit comprises rings and pole-pieces located outside the h.f. section.</p>
