Inertia crusher cone installation - uses three-point support of tipped cone shaft holding bushing

The cone-shaped crushing element (2) works together with a similarly shaped mantle (1) fitted in housing (3). The shaft (6) of the crushing element is fitted in bushing (8) which is connected with the driver assembly by double spherical joint (7). On the outer diameter of the bushing (8) on the eccentric weight (10) is fitted resting on disch (14) which in turn rests on a shoulder provided on the upper joint socket. The bushing (8) is long enough to partially intrude into opening (5) on housing part (4). When installing anew crushing cone (2), the old one is removed and the eccentric weight (10) tips the empty bushing (8) out of the vertical until the upper part (11) of the bushing comes to rest against surface (16) of part (4). At the same time the underside of disc (12) comes to rest on upper rim of housing part (15) while vertically the bushing is supported by spindle of double joint (7). The bushing is now positively fixed for the introduction of shaft (6) of a new cone (2).
