<p>The arrangement is intended for reducing the noise generated and possible damage during manufacture and/or transport and/or processing of containers in glass or metal due to mutual contact. Areas of protective coating are applied around the outside of the containers during or after their manufacture in positions which prevent direct mutual contact of other than the coated areas when positioned side by side. The coating may be applied in liquid, paste or powder form by rollers of spraying. Prefabricated strips or rings may instead be used, these being e.g. self-adhesive.</p> |
