The hearing-aid (6) has a plug device, which consists of a socket part and a plug part (13, 15), for connecting an electrical lead (14, 17). The plug part may be a microphone plug. After a dummy cover (8) has been removed from the hearing-aid itself, the contact cover (10) and pull plug (13) can be connected, or the plug (15) can be connected directly, passing out the positive and negative from the battery, and passing an audio signal from outside into the hearing-aid itself. For very deaf people, and in cases where the hearing-aid cannot be perfectly fitted to the auditory canal, two hearing-aids, which are connected to each other by the electrical lead, can be provided. In this case, the microphone of one hearing-aid is switched off, to prevent acoustic feedback. <IMAGE>
