Reusable plastics or copper tube pressure fitting - uses standard or modified nipple and cap nut, O=ring, washer, lock ring and spacer

The compression fitting is intended for making a pressure-tight connection of plastic or copper tubing using either a modified DIN-standard insert-type nipple (fig. 1) with standard cap nut or a non-modified DIN-standard insert nipple and cap nut with insert adapter. It is also applicable to a DIN-standard butt type fitting with seal ring and cap nut, using a modified pressure ring. It comprises an O-ring (A), a protective washer (B) a toothed lock ring (C) and, where an insert adapter is not required, a spacer ring (D). This ring ensures dimensional interchangeability with conventional fittings.
