<p>The elastic sealing strip has ribs and webs on its upper and/or lower surface. It is for insertion into horizontal joints between prefabricated concrete sections of buildings, swimming pools, cable shafts, etc; and serves to accommodate the forces in the joints, and to balance tolerances. The webs project over the ribs, and engage in recesses in the concrete sections. The ribs (1, 2) are of different heights and cross-sections. The lower ribs (1) have a larger cross section, and/or are provided in larger numbers than the higher ribs (2). The cross sections are triangular or trapezoidal.</p> |
