<p>A butchers machine for removing skin etc. from pieces of meat. The machine has powered roller with sharp teeth on its circumference which engage the meat. The meat is driven across the cutting edge of a blade which separates skin from meat. The blade is fixed to a mounting which is manually adjustable w.r.t. the axis of the drive roller. The blade mounting is now also self-adjusting because it is pivoted for limited angular movement about two axes parallel to the axis of the drive roller. The machine is fitted with a power-driven, cylindrical rotary brush which has long, stiff bristles for continuously brushing out debris from between teeth of the drive roller as it rotates. The pivotal mounting of the blade allows it automatically to adopt the best cutting angle as thickness and texture of the prod. vary irregularly.</p> |
