PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint body where the outside of a columnar member is sheathed with a metal pipe, and a manufacturing method for the same.SOLUTION: A metal plate is worked into a cylindrical shape to form a metal pipe 5, and the metal pipe 5 is enlarged in a radial direction to plastically deform. Next, a columnar member is inserted into the plastically deformed metal pipe 5 to enable the metal pipe 5 to be joined with the columnar member. This enables the manufacture of a joint body comprising a columnar member formed of columnar ceramic and a stainless pipe with a Vickers hardness of 180HV or more on the outer peripheral face of the columnar member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
