PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cemented-carbide-made composite roll composed of an outer layer made of a cemented carbide having excellent abrasion resistance, surface roughening resistance or the like and an inner layer made of an iron-based alloy having excellent toughness and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a cemented-carbide-made composite roll made by diffusion-welding an outer layer made of cemented carbide and an inner layer made of an iron-based alloy, wherein the inner layer is composed of 0.65 to 1.2 mass% of C, 1.8 to 7.5 mass% of Ni, 0.01 to 3 mass% of Cr and 0.01 to 1.5 mass% of Mo and the inner layer further contains 0.1 to 2.0 mass% of Si and 0.1 to 0.9 mass% of Mn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
