<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the dislocation of the inner doubling rings, etc. by fitting metal annular members respectively onto inner edge of an outer ring and outer edge of the inner doubling rings, and by interposing a sealing lip of a resilient material into each gap between the metal annular members at the construction of a ball-and-roller bearing having inner doubling rings. CONSTITUTION:Onto inner edges of an outer ring 1 are fitted metal annular members 11 each having a L-shaped cross section and each including a spliced annular member 9 and an annular flange 10, and onto outer sides of inner doubling rings 2, 2 are fitted metal annular members 14 similar to the annular members 11 and having a L-shaped cross section to be positioned opposite to the annular members 11. The annular flange 10 of the metal annular members 11 has a bent edge 20 by bending the end of the annular flange 10 inwardly, and on an outer end of the annular member 9 of the metal annular member 11 extends an engaging piece 15 capable of engaging with said bent edge 20. On an inner side of the annular flange 10 of the metal annular member 11 is secured a sealing lip 19 of a resilient material including annular projections 18, 18 which can slide on the metal annular member 14. Thus, the dislocation of the inner doubling rings can be prevented and the sealing of the gaps between the inner and outer rings can be attained.</p> |
