<p>The pref. prod. contains algae esp. Lithothamium Calcareum and/or Maerl. The prod. may be entirely Lithothamium Calcareum and/or Maerl and/or Coral or contain absorbing minerals, degreasing chemical salts or other additives such as insecticides, disinfectants, deodorants, perfumes etc. It is used to absorb liquid and semi-liquid waste such as oils, effluents, domestic animal excreta etc. It is superior to sawdust in that it is more absorbant, non-inflammable, has a high density and does not carry microorganisms. Also it has cleansing deodorising, anti-parasite, disinfectants, anti-skid, and insecticidal properties. It is non-toxic and biodegradable.</p> |
