<p>The fastening is for fitting or removing the hand grip plates (8) of a pistol without using tools. The plates have clips (4) fitted in them and these are normally invisible. The fixing of the plates is done by simple pressure action. The plates can be used without any additional machining on the firearm. The normal fixing screws are replaced by spherical headed ones (3). These grip the clips which are hollow stud type, the spherical head fitting inside them. The clips are held in recesses (4) in the plate.</p> |
