<p>The identification tab is made from a malleable material and is presented, with others, in the form of a strip (7). The tabs are initially joined together (3) at the side and are separated when the first tab is positioned ready for closing. The tool comprises fixed (20) and moving (13) jaws, the latter being associated with a sliding cylindrical stop (10 acting as a pivot. On entering the tool, the first tab is severed and the jaw closes it together so that its sharpened end (4) enters a slot (5) on its opposite face and locks.</p> |
