PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-sensitive color forming recording material having excellent heat sensitivity and giving a clear image free from surface-fogging by impregnating and filling a heat-sensitive color forming layer with a water-soluble or hydrophotic high polymer substance of excellent permability. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensitive color forming layer containing color-forming and color-developing substances as color-forming constituents is impregnated and filled with either a water-soluble high polymer substance such as cornstarch, gum arabic, methyl cellulose and polyvinly alcohol or a hydrophotic high polymer substance such as polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene and polyacrylonitrile, thus the aimed recording material is obtained. In addition, for the impregnation and filling of the high polymer it is preferable that the heat-sensitive color forming layer is formed after a substance is coated beforehand with the above-metioned high polymer substance to retard the impregnation of the high polymer into the upper part of the color-forming layer. |
