The drawer, particularly for office furniture, is preferably made of plastics and has top window-shaped openings (33) along both lengthwise sides (12,13). The lengthwise sides (12,13) are double, with a cavity between the inside wall (17) and the base (11) joined to it and the inside wall (17), joined to the outer wall (20) at the top. The cavity is open at the bottom. Insertion pieces (53,54) fit into the window-shaped openings along the top sides (12,13). Divider plates (35) or partitions have the horizontal insertion lugs which fit into the holes (12,13), and also insertion legs (40,41).
