The base part of the document perforator has a movably located stop strip for the document to be punched. Its longitudinal edge has consecutive engagement recesses, into which fits a retainer pin, forming an integral part of the base part, as in 1958695. A circular cross-section retention cam is integrally formed with the base part, and engages a longitudinal recess (27) with semi-circular end surfaces and U-shaped cross-section, formed in the document stop strip.
