PURPOSE:To obtain an output sentence having an excellent natural properties of the reproduced sound, by connecting a memory interface to each of plural processors via an independent system respectively and thus eliminating the delay of response to an output request. CONSTITUTION:The data obtained by giving a digital coding to the aural wave is stored in the memory VM and then read out selectively to be reproduced into the voice after a conversion into the analog quantity. Such device consists of the processor CPU1 and CPU2 of several units for editing of a sentence in accordance with the external signal SI; the memory interface MI which is connected to each of the above processors and then delivers the address of the aural data to be reproduced to the memroy VM; the output device OUT which converts the aural data into the analog quantity; and others. Then those plural CPUs are connected to the MI via the system bus SB which is independent with every CPU, and the MI is connected to the VM via the common memory bus MB respectively. |
