PURPOSE:To make glucomannan powder easily administrable and convenient for storage, transportation and handling, by mixing glucomannan powder with sorbitol, and tabletting the mixture. CONSTITUTION:30-40pts.wt. of commercially available glucomannan powder of about 50-80 mesh is mixed homogeneously with 70-60pts.wt. of sorbitol powder of about 50-100 mesh, and the mixture is pressed with a tabletting machine under a pressure of 80-90kg/tablet. |
