The device has a spreading plate (6) rotatable around a rotation axis (5), and a down-pipe (3) for feeding of spreading material (S) to the plate, where the material falls on the plate in a gravity limited manner from discharge ends (4c) of a mouth piece (4). The discharge ends are pointed away from a central area around the rotation axis of the plate. The ends are adjusted radially outward relative to the rotation axis. The ends have an inclination angle between 35-40 degrees relative to the rotation axis.
