A method for manufacturing an electric storage device comprising: placing a layered electrode structure in which negative and positive electrodes are stacked with a separator and an inorganic filler layer therebetween in a case having an injection port, wherein the inorganic filler layer contains aluminosilicate, injecting a nonaqueous electrolyte solution in the case, wherein the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains electrolyte, nonaqueous solvent, and lithium difluorobis(oxalato)phosphate, and sealing the injection port of the case after charging, the charging causing lithium difluorobis(oxalato)phosphate to be reductively decomposed and thereby the nonaqueous electrolyte solution to generate gas.
