PURPOSE:To collect the dust and dirt in the oil while DC voltage is applied on the subject electric machine and apparatus and to stabilize the insulating property in an in-oil pipe line by a method wherein an insulated barrier is attached on the inner surface of the in-oil pipe line and have a construction wherein an oil gap is existed between the insulating barrier and the in-oil pipe. CONSTITUTION:On the inner surface of the in-oil pipe line 4 having earth potential, a board-shape insulating barrier 10 which is coaxially arranged with the center conductor 7 is provided. This barrier 10 is installed on the inner surface of a passage 4 through the intermediary of a spacer 5, it has the construction wherein an oil gap is provided between the insulating barrier and the passage 4, the gap of 10-100mm. is maintained, for example, a through hole 10a of less than 25cm<2> in size is provided at the rate of one in a 100cm<2> area. Accordingly, when the inside of the passage 4 has been insulated, the dust and dirt in the oil can be collected while DC voltage is applied, thereby allowing to stabilize the insulating property in the passage 4. |
