PURPOSE:To stabilize blast furnace operation and to reduce fuel ratio in low burden level operation by recovering the burden level to the level of regular operation at the timing when Zn amount in furnace gas ash starts to decrease and/or alkali quantity in slag starts to decrease. CONSTITUTION:The method of low burden level may adopt a method in which the burden is lowered at the time the accumulated Zn and alkali amount has exceeded the set amount. In the process of lowering the burden, the collision effect to deposits causes part of deposits to be dropped off and as a result, the main component of deposit, Zn and alkali, is discharged with furnace gas ash and slag, respectively, thereby increasing Zn amount in furnace gas ash, and alkali amount in slag. Also, in response to the level of lowered burden, Zn and alkali vaporize and are discharged with furnace gas ash from the furance. Thus, when the discharged amount of Zn and alkli starts decreasing, the condition is considered a release from saturation state of Zn and alkali amount discharge, and so the regular operation is resumed. |
