A kit for providing a scratcher for use by a pet cat. The kit includes a plurality of scratching elements, each scratching element having top and bottom scratching surfaces and peripheral edges. Each scratching element is a cardboard body in which open corrugations are exposed by both of the top and bottom surfaces. The peripheral edges include connective elements for connecting the plurality of scratching elements to one another. |
