PURPOSE:To obtain an Sb-contg. oxide catalyst having superior activity by impregnating an Sb-contg. sintered oxide composition with an aqueous metallic Te soln. dissolved in hydrogen peroxide in the presence of specific ions. CONSTITUTION:A metallic oxide composition contg. Sb and one or more kinds among Fe, Co, Ni, Mn, U, Sn, Cu as essential components is sintered at about 500-1,000 deg.C. On the other hand, metallic Te is reacted with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of ions and compounds selected from NH3 ion, alkali metallic ion or oxide and oxygen acid (salt) of V, Mo, W, etc., whereby the aqueous soln. contg. Te or Te and alkali metals and elements one or more kinds among V, Mo, W is prepd. This aqueous soln. is impregnated with the sintered oxide composition, and after drying, it is sintered at about 400-850 deg.C. By this method, the multiaccelerating Sb-polyvalent metallic oxide catalyst having superior activity and properties is stably and easily produced. |
