<p>PURPOSE:To achieve rapid closing response of a regulator valve and a check valve by varying a speed governing ratio of the steam regulator valve on the basis of a deviation between the load set at the instant of shutting off load and an actual output of a turbine. CONSTITUTION:When a preset load signal (d) at the instant of shutting off load is greater than an actual output signal A of a turbine by a specific value or more, contact points 33b, 33d are closed so that the preset load signal (d) and the actual output signal A of the turbine are sent to a regulator valve speed governing ratio calculator 34. A calculated new regulator valve governing ratio C is input into an intermediate check valve load bias signal calculator 36, which makes calculation to provide a new intermediate check valve load bias signal (e). Closing motions of a regulator valve and an intermediate check valve are quickly made with aids of said operations so that a turbine may be prevented from overspeed.</p> |
