<p>The frequency multiplex system has a transmitter generating a pilot signal, a receiver and repeaters with variable gain spaced by a specified distance along the transmission line and between which constant gain repeaters are inserted. Each variable gain repeater (R) has a gain adjustment amplifier (AM1), whose output is connected to a control device (RG) measuring the pilot signal attenuation. it applies a control signal to the gain adjustment amplifier (AM1) which brings the pilot signal to its nominal level. A preadjustment amplifier (AM2) is connected to the adjustment amplifier (AM1) output. The signal from the control device (RG) is applied to its gain control input through a multiplier (MT) which multiples the control signal by a specified correction factor (x). The agc system is effective in variable climatic conditions.</p> |
