PURPOSE:To automatically operate the directional function of an audio-visual device, by controlling a servomotor by a signal which has detected a far-infrared ray of a man by use of an infrared ray detection camera. CONSTITUTION:Unless there is a man in the angle of view of an infrared ray detection camera 12, its output is zero, therefore, a view is searched by driving a servomotor 4 and moving by theta-DELTA deg.. In case when a man has been detected in the angle of view, the position of the man is produced by triggering an operating circuit 7. If no man has been detected in the angle of view, the servomotor 4 is rotated by 2theta-2DELTA deg. in the opposite direction. As a result, when it has been decided that there is not viewer, the camara 12 is returned to its original position by reversing it over again by theta-DELTA deg., and the electric power supply of all the apparatus is turned off. |
