The solar water heater has a central fluid container whose outer surfaces comprise the absorber and have a heat absorbing coating. The container has beading on each face onto which snaps the transparent outer covers. The outer covers serve as insulators and support for the container and a space is defined by them. The inner surfaces of the edges of the outer covers have a reflective coating. The container is filled through the stopper and can be positioned to suit the angle of the sun.
