The vehicle sunshield pivot consists of a body with two perpendicular shafts. One works with a bearing fixed on a body panel and the other with a tubular bearing fixed to the shield screen. The shaft is cylindrical and has splines. The bearing dia. is equal at that of the shaft and has flexible grooves working with the splines. The grooves make between them an angle at least equal to that determined by the longer depressions. The shaft can have a circular centre with circular segments on its periphery.
