Cobalt-chromium alloy and use thereof

The invention relates to cobalt-chromium alloys having a certain content of molybdenum and manganese and as low as possible a carbon content, as well as small and limited proportions of silicon and/or aluminium and possibly boron, which instead of noble metals or noble-metal alloys or nickel-chromium alloys can be employed in dentistry, especially for producing porcelain-faced bridges and crowns.
