FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for lining edges and to a method of lining edges. Technical result is achieved by a device for lining edges, intended for application on narrow surfaces of a workpiece in form of a strip of an edge tape, fixed on narrow surfaces without glue due to its multilayer structure by thermal activation. Device comprises a device for feeding edge tape and clamping device, which presses edge tape to narrow surface of workpiece. In zone of feed device and/or clamping device is located an outlet for hot air or gas, which feeds hot air or gas under pressure higher than atmospheric pressure by more than 1 bar, on edge tape, and/or on thermally activated layer of edge tape, and/or on narrow surface of workpiece. Invention provides a heating device linked with outlet to feed hot air or gas thereto to bring hot air or gas to temperature of 400-700 °C, and an external source of compressed air, from which gas or air is blown into heating device.EFFECT: simplified application, high accuracy of adjustment and quality of edge tape.20 cl, 2 dwg |
