Anthraquinonoid dyes of the formula <IMAGE> where one Y is -NHCO-R<1> or NHCOOR<2>, the other Y is -OH, R<1> is alkyl, phenoxymethyl, -CH=CH2, -CH=CH-C6H5 or optionally substituted phenylamino, R<2> is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl or phenyl, R is chlorine, bromine, alkyl, cyclohexyl, alkoxy, benzyl, benzyloxy, trifluoromethyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkoxyalkoxycarbonyl or optionally substituted phenyl or phenoxy, and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3 and where if n > 1 the substituents can be identical or different. The dyes produce by the process described in DE Patent 1811796 blue or turquoise prints or dyeings on cellulose-polyester blends with very good fastness properties.
