<p>The attachment, for local control of a normal hot water filled radiator has a thermostatically controlled fan which circulates air past the radiator when the temp. in the room falls below a certain level. In addition, the unit may include a supply of water for humidifying the air, and filters to clean the air. Electrical heaters may also be provided to augment the heating if the water temp. is inadequate. The attachment is mounted in a frame over the radiator, and may hinge in one of a variety of ways. The cover may lift up, with a hinge along the back, front, or one end. This provides easy access for cleaning the filter, or replenishing the water.</p> |
