VARIABLE CAPACITY COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To provide effective operation with less loss, by constituting a captioned compressor so that a discharge valve on a rear side is displacable between a normal close position and an open position for opening a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A valve retainer 43 on a rear side is formed in the same shape as a discharge valve 41 and a column shaped spool 44 is integrally constructed with the discharge valve 41 and the valve retainer 43 by a bolt 45 before the spool 44 is slidably fitted axially in an operating chamber 46. Since the discharge valve 41 on the rear side is displacable between a normal close position and an open position for opening a discharge port 37, a capacity of compressor can be turned over step by step depending on cooling load, leading to effective operation with less loss.
