The present invention relates to a digital tape measure for easily calculating materials which allows dimensions of an object to be immediately confirmed by a measurer, matches the confirmed dimensions with preset information, to calculate material information necessary for work and to shorten work time, thereby increasing efficiency of the work. The digital tape measure according to the present invention comprises: a tape-shaped measurer (1) which is provided with gradations and is provided with magnets (6) on the gradations; a case (2) which winds and accommodates the measurer (1) therein, and is provided with a slit (7) to withdraw the wound and accommodated measurer (1) on one side; a sensor (3) which is installed on one side of the case (2) and detects the magnets (6) formed on the gradations of the measurer (1) withdrawn through the slit (7) of the case; a display unit (4) which is formed on the case (2) and displays the dimensions detected by the sensor (3); a control unit (5) which controls the dimensions detected through the sensor (3), calculates materials necessary for work by matching the controlled dimensions with preset information, and controls the display unit (5) to display the calculated materials. |
