Self-loading forage box with an apportioning device

The invention relates to a self-loading forage box with continuous load-space walls at the sides and an apportioning device which is arranged at the end of the forage box and has one or more apportioning cylinders (drums). The rear boundary of the apportioning device and of the load space is provided by an appropriately designed tail flap, which is locked to the apportioning device and can be unlocked by means of switching elements by the driving and/or switch-on device or by the driven apportioning cylinder itself. This ensures that the tail flap is opened automatically before the unloading operation in all cases without the need for the tractor driver to climb down from the tractor. Malfunctions of and damage to the apportioning device are eliminated.
