PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition and a molding which maintain excellent flame retardancy and rigidity and besides, are excellent in strength of adhesion to a dissimilar material and water vapor barrier properties.SOLUTION: There provided the resin composition and the molding each of which contains: a polyphenylene ether resin (I); a polypropylene resin (II); a hydrogenated block copolymer (III) obtained by hydrogenerating a block copolymer containing a polymer block A and a polymer block B having the whole vinyl bond amount of 30-90%; one or more inorganic fillers selected from the group consisting of talc (IV), wallastonite (V) and mica (VI); phosphinates (VII) selected from the group consisting of specific phosphinate and specific diphosphinate; and melamine pyrophosphate (VII). The resin composition contains 50-99 pts.mass of the component (I), 1-50 pts.mass of the component (II), 2-20 pts.mass of the component (III), 1-50 pts.mass of the total of the component (IV) the component (V) and the component (VI), and 3-15 pts.mass of the total of the component (VII) and the component (VIII), with respect to 100 pts.mass of the total of the component (I) and the component (II).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
