The invention relates to an office stapler for stapling together paper, textile and/or foil plies, which can be manufactured more quickly with a simplified technological process, has components with integral function utilisation, the possibility for plastic tolerance compensation and unambiguous polarity properties, permits the rolling-in of material to be stapled and is suspendable. This is achieved by a resilient frame carrying an actuating lever consisting of a flat-form spring and capable of bending in the functioning direction, which frame is composed of a one-piece, untensioned, open leg spring bent radially through at least 180 DEG , one leg of which is constructed as a stapler foot with flexible anvil and, in its turning region, with a rolling-up portion, designed in a form of a three-quarter circle, for material to be stapled, and the other leg of which contains at the exit of the rolling-up portion a deflector and furthermore a staple housing consisting of a staple-ejecting channel, a staple bar holding-down device, and also [lacuna] of staple housing, staple-bar pick-up, staple slide and staple-slide pressure spring. <IMAGE>
