In the installation according to the invention, hot waste water arising in a building is collected in an insulated collecting container. Installed in the collecting container are pipe coils (2), by which the heat is taken up for further use. Connected to the collecting container is an inflow line (4) which branches off from a waste-water collecting line, as well as an outflow line (7) which, behind it, leads into the waste-water collecting line (3).
