<p>The hose (1) is formed on a chuck or spindle by forming a tube (4), by gluing the longitudinal edges of a band cut out of a panel of thin supple tissue impregnated with elastomer. A threadlike reinforcement (3) of stainless steel is engaged on this tube in spiral form with dimensions appropriate to those of the tube. A layer (5) of a mixture of elastomer material and solvent is then applied to the tube and reinforcement, the evaporation of the solvent connecting the reinforcement to the tube.</p> |
