<p>A composite window for a vehicle exterior door which affords a downward or all around view while the door is closed. The window includes an outer pane (11) having two substantially parallel plane surfaces (12 and 13), an inner pane (14) having a plane surface (15) facing the outer pane (11) and spaced therefrom. The opposite surface is formed as a prism (16) extending either partly or entirely thereover. Additionally, the opposite surface (15) of the inner pane may be provided with a concave surface (18) forming a concave lens which enhances the effect of the prism (16).</p> |
