The invention relates to a rotary swath rake which has two rotary units connected separably to one another. The object on which the invention is based is to make such a constructional connection of the rotary units that the machine can be put into operation either only with one or with both rotary rake units. The invention is characterised in that a main rotary unit and an auxiliary rotary unit are connected releasably to one another, the auxiliary rotary unit being coupleable to the frame of the main rotary unit by means of a corresponding housing both from the left-hand and from the right-hand side.
