Mixing and stirring arrangement for the mixing and stirring of liquids in hermetically sealed containers, in particular for containers which are under pressure or partial vacuum and whose contents are to be mixed particularly gently without any external agency (for example by shaking or by means of a stirring rod), which arrangement can be used in medical laboratories or in chemistry and is characterised by the following features: - The arrangement (device 1) consists of a holder (2) which is arranged between two electromagnetic poles (3) and thus can receive the container, for example a bottle (4), by means of simple insertion (see Figure 1: blood-ozone mixer with a hermetically sealed transfusion bottle). - By means of a variable magnetic field generated electrically between the poles, a small ferromagnetic mixing plate (5) introduced beforehand into the container is moved to and fro, and the contents of the container are thus mixed and/or stirred. - The small mixing plate can be moved by means of a movement function which can be predetermined in any desired manner, so as to give a gentle mixing/stirring which is optimal and is necessary for particular liquids. <IMAGE>
