A heat pump is described, which comprises a compressor, a condenser, a throttling member and an evaporator flowed through by air. The expanded, evaporated, cold refrigerating medium flows through the pipeline of the evaporator. In addition, a further pipeline is arranged either in the evaporator or, in the flow direction of the air, in front of the evaporator, through which the still liquid and relatively warm pressurised refrigerating medium flows. As a result, the air is heated. The ice separation in the evaporator is thus prevented and the efficiency of the heat pump is increased.
