In a field sprayer having spraying arms (5) which are mounted in an articulated manner on a base part (2) and which can be folded in in such a way that, in the folded-in state, they do not appreciably exceed the width of a normal road vehicle, it is proposed, in order to achieve a symmetrical folding-in movement and simple operation, to connect the spraying arms (5) to the base part (2) by means of horizontal joints (3) and, in the folded-in position, to mount them above the base part (2). <IMAGE>
