Production of cellulose from wood or other lignocellulose-containing plants by microbiological degradation of the lignocellulose on mobile vehicles
摘要
A process is described for the biological production of cellulose on mobile vehicles, mainly ships. As can already be seen from the main application P 3110117.8, this biological process is based on the use of white rot fungi (Pleurotus ostreatus) and extracellular enzymes. The cultures required for breeding the white rot fungi and for producing the enzymes are also accommodated on the ship. The necessity for providing arrangements for the protection of the environment ceases to apply since the process does not entail pollution of the environment. The heat required for the microbiological degradation is obtained from the waste steam (exhaust steam) of the ship's turbine or from the waste heat of the cooling water of the diesel or gas engines of the driving motors.
