Cis-dichloroplatinum(II)-amino acid complexes of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> and R<2>, independently of each other, denote hydrogen or the residue of a biologically acceptable amino acid, and R<3> and R<4>, independently of each other, denote an alkyl radical having at least 2 C atoms, which radical can be substituted by a hydroxyl group, a process for their preparation, and medicaments containing them.
