The invention relates to a car with a partition window which extends in the vehicle transverse direction behind the front seats, is attached pivotably in the roof region and is supported with preloading against the backrests of the front seats by means of a rubber-elastic holding means connected to a vehicle part. In this car, to avoid noises and to utilise the passenger or luggage compartment to the maximum, it is proposed that there be provided two identical holding means which are spaced apart from one another and are braced by holders which are associated with the front seats, protrude from their backrests and support head restraints.
