<p>The template (1,2) with adjustable masking plates (11,12) and clamps (3) is used to drill skis to receive bolted boot stops etc. One or more base plates with drilling barrels (10) is overlaid by one or more masks with holes (13), the distribution of barrels and holes being such that different mask positions correspond to a pattern of holes required for a fixing. Each mask position aligns the holes with the barrels relevant to the particular pattern of drill holes and covers all other barrels, being reached by pivoting or sliding in steps. Sliding mask movements may take place longitudinally or transversely, two part base plates may extend by relative sliding of the parts, and a window (14) may indicate (15) the selected pattern.</p> |
