摘要 A pantograph interrupter has two pantograph struts (12, 14) which interact with at least one stationary mating contact (18, 20), each pantograph strut (12, 14) having allocated to it at least one commutating contact (26, 28), which still rests on the mating contact for some time shortly after the interruption of the pantograph strut during switching off. In order to shorten the time period for which the arc burns during switching off, each commutating contact (26, 28) is fitted in an articulated manner to the crossing point (16) of the pantograph struts (12, 14), one end of in each case one tension spring being attached to the commutating contact of one pantograph strut, and the other end of said tension spring in each case being attached to the other pantograph strut. The crossing joint (crossing articulation point, crossing hinge) (16) is located between the two articulation points of the spring, and the spring centre line (62) is (in the switched-on state) located outside the central axis (17) of the crossing joint in a first stable position in which the spring presses the respective commutating contact against the mating contact, in such a manner that (during a switching-off operation) the centre line (62) of the tension spring (50) is moved out of this first stable position, via a dead centre position in which the centre line (62) of the spring (50) runs through the centre axis (17) of the crossing joint (16), into a second stable position, in which the commutating contacts suddenly snap out of the switched-on position into the switched-off position. <IMAGE>
